DEBUT SINGLE

The Empty Room

We very excitedly and proudly announce our debut single, The Empty Room. It will be released around April time on limited edition vinyl and download. More details will appear on our website, myspace and facebook over the next few weeks, and the single itself will be on various radio stations as we go. New photos and new artwork all to come. We worked with genius producer Lucien Caine, and recorded down at Airtight Studios in Chorlton-cum-hardy (you get over the name after a few weeks) with the ridiculously talented Tom Knott.

We will soon have a PRE ORDER feature on our soon-to-be-pimped myspace and website, so peel your eyes in preparation for that.

Waterfall Lane is the B-Side of the single - it's a new recording of this old favourite with warmer harmonies and more beautiful instrumentation than previously recorded. The original is still there too - they have quite different vibes and we're very excited about this B-Side version.

REVIEW: BBC Review "In The City" gig

A lovely BBC Manchester review of our gig at the Bay Horse pub (Oct 18th), presented by Country Club, as part of the In The City festival. Feldspar managed to walk that difficult line between melancholy and aspiration without ever using their music to dictate an absolute feeling of either. This was a master class in subtle nuance with repeated beautiful emotional blows. When someone is able to lay out their soul for all to see, but has the musical ability, knowledge and skill to back it up, you can't really ask for more. An absolute must see; simple as that."
